Biggar to Edinburgh bus inquiry beset by problems
The first day of the probe by the Scottish Traffic Commissioner last Wednesday in Edinburgh had to be cut short after proceedings were first stalled by a powercut and then by the sudden illness of one of the witnesses.
However, local public transport campaigners are reported to be glad that at least the inquiry had got underway.

Hide AdThe probe was prompted by the cancellation late last year of the contract to run the service, given to Borders company MacEwans by the public transport subsidy authority SPT.
