Hide AdCommenting ahead of travelling to London for the summit, Usman said: “I am delighted to attend the Commonwealth Heads Forums and facilitate at workshops on issues which I have been working on for many years. I created the employment journey policy model which helped governments, employers and trade unions, here at home and around the Commonwealth transform the way they approached employability particularly for young people.
“I also look forward to welcoming and collaborating with my fellow young leaders from across the commonwealth in order to promote greater democracy, security, and prosperity for all. Young People are taking up their leadership roles in society today with the utmost seriousness and working together is crucial to achieving our collective success.”
The week ends with the 52 Heads of Government meeting to consider recommendations made to them by the Youth Forum as well as the Business, People and Women’s Forums.
Usman will also attend Her Majesty’s 92nd Birthday Concert at the Royal Albert Hall next weekend.
