Nursery devastated after vandals strike
The thoughtless thugs damaged a new hut for the nursery garden at Craighead School, threw garden chairs on the school roof, set fire to bins and smashed eggs on the windows.
The £430 hut had only been erected before the summer break, paid for by the hard fundraising work of the local community.

“The children, staff, parents and community partners pulled together and worked to hard to make the garden a fabulous environment for the children.
“The hut was actually put up by a group of parents. It really was an example of true community spirit and for this to happen is very disheartening.
“It’s not just the monetary value, the garden is such a positive addition to the nursery. The children loved it and they are all very upset.
