Sponsored spin at Carluke Leisure Centre raises thousands for charity
Between 150 and 200 people aged from 13 to pensioners will cycle for a minimum of one hour on bikes with varying pedal resistance levels. Kenny Martin, cycled for eight hours in last year’s marathon spin, which raised a whopping £12,700.
He said: “There are 30-odd bikes and teams with a minimum of five people who will be spinning or cycling to music under the direction of a tutor.
“It’s an event which can exercise every muscle in your body.
