Under starter’s orders for the Jack Crawford 10k
The Jack Crawford 10K Springburn Cup Race is organised by Springburn Harriers running club and will take place at 11am on Saturday 7th March 2015.
The race starts and finishes within 150m of Bishopbriggs Leisuredrome. The start is at Hilton Terrace, directly opposite the Leisuredrome and the finish is on the Forth and Clyde Canal towpath near Balmuildy Road bridge.

Hide AdThe first 2.5km is on the roads through the Meadowburn area to the Cadder Road bridge followed by a ‘traffic free’ 7.5km scenic circuit along the Forth and Clyde Canal towpath. The route goes east towards Kirkintilloch.
The turning point, about 5.5km from the start, is on the towpath beyond The Stables Restaurant where runners now head west back along the towpath to the finish.

Hide AdRace numbers should be collected on the day of the race from declarations inside the Leisuredrome.
Refreshments will be provided at the finish and home baking will be provided at the end of the race in the squash court. Donations to SSAFA and Scottish Disability Sport.
Car Parking is available with overflow parking at Hilton Terrace football ground.
Changing facilities are available at The Leisuredrome which provides changing and shower facilities plus a cafe. Payment for the use of these facilities are to be paid directly to the Leisuredrome.
